Intelligent Lithium Battery

The combination scheme of intelligent lithium battery management module for DC/DC bidirectional converter provides bidirectional energy flow, bidirectional voltage and current control and real-time monitoring of battery pack states, thereby achieving the purpose of mixed use of lead-acid batteries/ordinary lithium batteries, current sharing of battery packs and mixed use of new and old battery packs.

  Accelerate the input of iron lithium into the backup power system, and increase the backup time by mixing iron lithium with lead acid

  Lithium iron has been widely used for backup power in base stations with the continuous decline in the price of lithium iron. The increase in 5G equipment requires battery expansion to increase backup time. New lithium iron needs to be shared with lead-acid batteries for the increase in backup time to maximize the utilization of lead-acid batteries.

  The equipment in base station is put into use in stages, and the batteries are depl- oyed as needed. The new and old batter- ies need to be mixed foruse to reduce initial investment

  There is significant uneven current if new and old batteries are directly used in parallel due to the significant differen- ces. Therefore, redundant configuration of more batteries is required, which actually increases investment. The uneven current of the new and old batteries is greater during the later stage of discharge and the high current discharge is uncontrollable, which will trigger the current limiting to shut down for protection and accelerate battery aging.

  The increase in 5G heavy-duty equipment will make DC 57VDC power supply the norm

  The power demand for 5G terminal equipment has significantly increased, and the power supply voltage of the current backup system will rapidly drop as the power supply distance increases, resulting in insufficient battery capacity to fully supply the equipment and shortened backup time. It is necessary to increase the voltage of the backup system and reduce the input voltage attenuation of the terminal equipment to prevent the loss of battery capacity.
